The Big Man Speaks!!!!!

Dave just started talking about 30 minutes ago! He said his head hurts and his right arms hurts. It's difficult to understand most of what he's saying but it's obvious he's trying pretty hard. We told him he was in the hospital and he replied "figured as much". Small steps in the big picture, but a great relief to see!

Dave was also able get his left eye partially open for a short time, and he drank water from a straw (much to his delight!). Big steps for the big man today! I think they're going to keep him in the ICU for a couple more days. Still going to be a long road ahead, but things are looking better!
